Crassula ovata, also known as the Jade plant or money tree, is a popular succulent plant species native to South Africa. It is a small, slow-growing plant that can eventually reach heights of up to 3 feet (90 cm) and widths of up to 2 feet (60 cm).

Crassula ovata is known for its thick, fleshy leaves that are typically a dark green color but can take on reddish tones in bright sunlight. The leaves are oval-shaped and grow opposite each other along thick stems. In the winter months, the plant may produce clusters of small, star-shaped white or pink flowers.

This plant is popular as a houseplant due to its attractive appearance and ease of care. It prefers well-draining soil and bright, indirect sunlight, but can also tolerate lower light conditions.
